Washing bogu

God, this kote stinks!!!!! I hope I don't catch a skin disease...:(

I wonder if its possible to wash the kote or the men?

If so whats the best way to do it?

I suggest you apply the infamous 'Febreeze' spray or special bogu deodorant spray sold by Kyoto's Tozando I use the later to neutralize the smell and keep it it clean

Otherwise air it a lot and that's it

There are anti-microbial kote for sale in Mori Budogu and washer-safe kote at Eguchi
