Hi everyone. Haven't posted here in a while, but I thought that there may be somebody out there who might be able to use this.
One of the students at our Dojo put their hakama in the dryer!! Anyhow, long story short the pleats were lost. I'm now in posession of the Hakama as I said I cold get them back (I've made the same mistake). But, before I was delivered the hakama (literally) I began to write an e-mail with instructions on how to restore them. I decided to write up a quick and dirty little "how-to" guide for anybody who needs to do the same.
As I have no digital camera at the moment, its not as nice as my Folding guide at www.halifaxkendo.org/hakama.html, but I think it serves its purpose. You can find the guide at:
www3.sympatico.ca/cgrava by clicking the "Kendo Information" link on the top of the page, or download it directly at www3.sympatico.ca/restoration.doc
Enjoy,
Steve
