Well, since that whole hakama and keikogi thing is so flattering, I guess we're all hot.

I'm just too hot because I'm stuck in a dojo with no A/C or ventilation and the summers are hot and humid here. Wearing a double layered keikogi doesn't help either. The karate class before us seals the windows during the practise so by the time we get in there, it's a sauna with condensation dripping off the windows, eww. Last Tuesday, I crumpled from hyperthermia. It wouldn't be so bad but for a gracious 4th dan who came all the way from Toronto to come see us. How embarassing. I hope you'll understand when I ask if your dojo has A/C before I visit!

Raiza- there is always a lot to learn from Inouye, but don't think that it's all Ocean Breezes and pina coladas here.......it is Southern California and the Summers do get warm...Sometimes the winters,springs and falls too!....in other words, we still sweat but the advantage is we can wear shorts and slippers and drink beer outside all year long.....Paradise has it's draw backs!:beard:
