What is the difference between a 6 row kote or 8 row kote or whatever that I keep seeing on the different bogu listings on the various bogu dealers websites?

Never heard of 6 or 8 row kote. Maybe you're thinking of tare? They often advertise how many rows of embroidery cord are at the top of each flap of the tare. I've never understood how that makes any difference...

For kote they talk about one or two "kera", which is the pockets of padding across the knuckly. I believe a two kera kote gives more flexibility but is more difficult to construct and therefore more expensive.

I must have been looking at the wrong row or column. But thanks for the info. I don't understand some of these fine points so I am afraid of missing something important when I buy my bogu.

I believe those extra lines on the tare don't really mean anything, just more decorative.
