Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu

there are many ppl who say they are the 20th generation head master of the Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu, so who is the real one? discuss.

as i understand, the eishin-ryu is a koryu so it doesn't have dan's, but pass down maki rolls. i have seen kataoka sensei's maki, so i'm betting on him.

I have trained with a number of high-ranking iai teachers but I don't question their lineage. Go away. Train. Get better and stop worrying about who is fake and who is not.

new york city kendo club. i'm not questioning their liniage beacuse i'm trying to look cool and say that i pratice this school, this line of iaido, but beacuse i'm just freakin curious, either way its not like i'm going to stop just beacuse the school isn't "cool" enough. and y r u being an ass? geez.

The 'creator' of MJER was Oe Masamichi. He taught Yamamoto Harusuke who taught Hiromichi Yokoyama who taught Noboru Kataoka. In other words he's legit. Not a headmaster but an official teacher nevertheless.
