Signatures

Just curious (i.e. nothing life-changing) but I noticed that sometimes when I post, my sig doesn't appear at the bottom of the post. Any ideas?

my guess is that when your post is short (i.e. not too many characters) the system detects it and your 'show your signature' box at the bottom becomes unchecked by default. at least that's how the phpbb forum i administrate works.

if you want to make sure your signature is displayed ALWAYS just make sure this *show your signature* box is checked before you hit the 'post' button :D

If I edit a post the sig appears so maybe time is a factor?

[edit] - yep, sig just appeared

I think it shows the sig for the first post you make in a thread, then the rest it's sans sig.
