Hello fellow kendoka,
I know NY has tests in June and December. What about other cities? I was unable to take the test in June and I will be unable to take the test in December so I'm looking for another place to go. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I just got notice yesterday that Triangle Kendo Club will be hosting the SEUSKF tourney this year at UNC campus in Chapel Hill, NC...
they haven't released the dates yet, but traditionally, the SEUSKF tournament is sometime around the last weekend in October/first weekend in November...

Thank you! NC is a little far but I'll keep it in mind. Any Boston people here?

Yeah, I thought it might be a bit of a stretch for you to go to Chapel Hill, but... I think that's the northernmost venue the SEUSKF tournament has ever had (at least for past 10 years)...
An option, but sheesh.. I'd hate to see the fuel bill for driving it...

Well, if NC - North Carolina is too far, then NC - Northern California is probably out of the question. But, for the record, we hold shinsa in November and May.
Good luck,

That is really convenient that many of you get two opportunities per year.
SCKF (SoCal) is in mid-October, but I don't think that helps you unless you're looking for an excuse to travel out here.
