Hello everyone . I want to make a suburito for a friend ( I do have carpentry knowladge and the tools) . the suburito will be made out of white ash and shaped with hand tools . What I'm wondering is what is the standard size for a suburito ( width , shaku and width) ? Also , does a suburito have to be properly balanced like a real sword?

usually it's about 110 cm, shape doesnt matter (it may be straight and square in section). and it cant be balanced like a real sword

Well, I don't know if there is such a thing as a "standard" suburito....
What's called "standard" below is the one most commonly seen:

i prefer my suburitos with guacamole and sour cream... haha.. had to do it sorry.
