Argh! No! Just come back from physio. He gives me accupuncture which makes me very drowsy and a little dizzy. I'm over there for a roleplaying con and larpers can be.. well, let's just say I may have stories from the con part of the trip but they'll be boring cos you wont know any of the people ;) Alison has sweetly enough agreed to put me up for another couple nights after the con so I can train with one or both of the Lawrence Senseis in jodo.

This shoulder thing having me out of training is really getting to me. I'm catalouging a bunch of DVDs for the club and last night whilst watching an instructional vid (no subtitles and I don't speak japanese but very interesting and helpful none-the-less) I could almost smell the bamboo and linseed oil. Dah! I just wanna hit something or swing something!

Yes, we get the tryhards that get noticed more because of their big mouths which they use to tell everyone that they know everything about everything. But the same applies in MA anyway. In fact, in any group. Hell, I wouldn't be doing kendo if my interest hadn't been peaked by L5R. Yes! I admit it! I mean, it's not like I go to work dressed like a vampire or talk about stats and xp in the dojo.
