Do you use a 37 or 38 tsukigawa on a 39 shinai? Are your arms short? Shorter in length so that a 39 tsukigawa is uncomfortable.

I used a 39 for the first couple of years I studied kendo, but then switched to a 38 to try and increase ny speed. recently i ran out of the fatty shinai's i have become acoustom to and the only thin tsukagawas I have are for the thinner shinais so I practiced with a 39 the other night. found I wasn't extending my right arm to the tsuba any longer....raelly messed up my already lousy form. Gotta get back to the 38 before the SCKF Champs.:beard:
