hi'ya
i've got a question abt 2mm bogu from e-kendo
does anyone had ever seen the e-kendo ones ???
are they as good as they look like?
normally i use ninecircles(dojo ones) thats the good stuff...
but soon i'm going to get my own bogu-the question is where from...
if there is anyone who have a set from e-bogu korea i'd love to hear something more abt it.
i'll grateful for some tips

I ordered a 2.5mm (under the "Sale"-section.. ) 4 days ago, so in maybe a week or so I'll be able to tell you some first impressions on mine :)

A couple of fellow kendoka at my club already have e-kendo bogu, and as far as they've told me, they're happy with them.

HENRIK,
2.5mm is one of my options so i'll be glad if you could tell me smthg more abt it
you see we've been told that in case of getting a bogu set for ourselfs to do not go lover than 2.5mm so at the moment 2,5 - 2mm from nine circles or e-kendo really matters...
hope your get yours before 11sep(&tell me its great:) so i can get onefor myself:)

E-bogu is the place to go for armour, I got a nice 2mm set from them about 6 months ago and its is, in a word, excellent. You pay a bit more for postage but because of the exchange rate its not as much as you think it'll be

i got this set as well, i used e-kendo based on one of my dojo mates telling me how happy he was with them. i'll let you know how mine turns out.

Okay, I guess this is just a bit late for the sale (which obviously ended yesterday), but today I got a letter from the local post office that they have a package waiting for me.. so hopefully I'll be training in new bogu this evening :)

As long as it's not from KarateDepot.com, you should be fine with either supplier.

if e-kendo is that german site then payment is something of a challenge. He has no online payment methods and you have to sort out a bank transfer or paypal payment

e-kendo is a korean supplier and their online payment page was very easy, (not paypal) and they sent me an email confirmation immediately.

Okay, I got my bogu last week (took roughly 3 weeks from ordering), and It's followed me to two practices so far :) It fits a million times better than the rental bogu I've used until now, as I hoped it would!

So, this is the 2.5mm version, and I went for embroidery M14 and Do 7. The Do is actually really dark navy blue colour, but you'd have to be in open daylight to reliably tell it apart from normal black.
