Hello everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know that we now have a place to practice in Orlando FL and that I now have a web site up for it. Please take a look around and let me know how you like it. Its steady being reworked. Thanks its at

Congratulations on getting the club going. As far as the site goes, I find the colours hard to read. The scrolling text is annoying, and I'd rather the links opened info in the same window rather than opening a new window that I then have to close.

Congats on the club.

The colours are not too bad. Opening a new window all the time is a little annoying. :cross_eye

I like the site and I agree with Mr. Gendzwill, it's a little hard to read. Also the Java was a bit screwy but that could have been my Mac Safari browser not cooperating.
Cool with the background though. It gives a nice effect and is kind of rustic. Maybe you should lighten it up a bit. A light black and white photo might be more effective, perhaps even sepia style? The change might give it a more classy atmosphere or as we say in Japanese SHIBUI!!! Good luck :) !

the idea of a wooden floor background is cool. maybe make the fonts dark and posterize/high contrast the background so it becomes light-whitish though? maybe it would be easier to read. in any case congratulations on the dojo creation.

btw iwakekenshi, this is a bit offtopic, but what is the difference between shibui and shibumi? can shibui or shibumi be applicable to kendo? :D :D
