I've noticed in a few peoples' profiles they mention "kenjutsu". If you practice kenjutsu, which ryu you study? How does it relate to your kendo?

In the few seconds available per year between doing regular jo and iai practise we try to squeeze in some Shinto Ryu Kenjutsu from the SMR Curriculum. My sempai knows the Tachi Uchi No Kurai and the Kendo no Kata quite well but he is not around much nowadays and I find them really hard to learn to be honest.

I've heard that Kenjutsu doesn't exist.
That it's all Kendo now, and when someone is talking about Kenjutsu they really mean Kendo.
Infact - I've been told that all forms ending in "jutsu" are all no the same forms that end in "do"...
Prove me wrong.

Just do some research and prove yourself wrong.

Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu Kenjutsu.
It does not relate to my study of kendo at all, really - other than the reason I started. :)
Bolgo, you're an idiot. Come here and give me a hug.

Spectacular! You start your post off with "I've heard that..." and then end it with "prove me wrong" (I'm ignoring the glut glut).
So....someone said something to you, you did nothing to verify or refute the claim and now you ask someone else to prove YOU wrong.
Laaaaaaaaazy.
Simple answer, your source is wrong. Now go research.

Sweet.
I was having a hard time trying to get an argument to win an argument... so I took the stance of the person I'm trying to defeat... to see how you guys would defeat me.
Apparently the best way to kill a troll is still with flames.
So, sorry about that - I got some crazy good info from the other thread, it just took a lot longer for responses.
So, thanks guys - I really appreciate it.
Eventually I got the guy to see the truth, and hes slowly backpeddling...
Thankfully his gang of Kendo buddies concede as well.
This just proves that Detroit needs more culture.
