I am in the Navy and my family and I are coming to Pax River, Maryland. My son has been studing Kendo for two year's in Japan and really enjoy's it. He would like to continue studing. We are looking for a dojo close to Naval Station Pax River so if any one out there knows of a dojo close to that area please respond or email me directly at howard25@hotmail.com.

Thank you

Jeff

Jeff,

According to the AUSKF postings http://www.kendo-usa.org/statedojolist.htm, and http://www.auskf.info/dojo/xindex.htm there is not much in your neck-of-the-woods.

According to the lists, if they are up to date (which they tend not to be), your "nearest" Dojo are Annapolis, MD, and Arlington, Oakton, and Richmond, VA.

I would check with some of these people who would most likely know if there were any Dojo closer to you.

Gambatte,

It is about 80 miles to Annapolis which is the distance that I travel to NYC at least twice a week so that is not too outrageous.

His chauffeur takes him while he sips champagne and converses with his jet set friends by satphone - that's hardly dedication. I heard that sometimes he brings along female companionship and "naps" along the way.

Homeland security won't let me land the helicopter in the city so what's a poor boy to do?
