Hi I'm new to this forum and I would just wondering if someone can help me with a question regarding Shinai's in the Japanese Koei Color Catalgoue.

As I can not read Japanese I was wondering what are the difference in the following Shinai's with reference to page 62 of the Japanese Koei Color Catalgoue.

#31-126

#31-127

#31-128

The three models above are the same price in the catalogue but I would just like to know what the differences are.

I sent an email to Koei last week and have yet to receive a reply. Can someone please help me.

Thanking you in Advance

You may have better luck in contacting Robert Stroud at Bogubag.com.
He is a Koei dealer and usually responds quickly with answers to any questions that I have asked.
His email address is availabel at his website. BoguBag.com (http://www.bogubag.com)

Or send a PM to qpuppy on this forum. He's a rep for Koei in Australia.
(25% spotter's fee will do fine Alvin - just pay directly into my account ;) )

:) thanks qpuppy...yeah they are pretty pricey but I just wanted to know what the difference's were.

Actually Robert Stroud replied to my email and provided the following information:

#31-126, Kihou, dobari balanced weight, each made from a single bamboo

#31-127, Kunimitsu, tip weigthed balance for men hitting

#31-128, Shigemasa, thicker tip, for men hitting

(thanks for the quick response Rob!) :D
