Hey everyone,

I'll be leaving for a family vacation on Wednesday to Washington D.C. for the rest of the week. I was wondering if any of you guys know if there is a Kenjutsu dojo around downtown Washington D.C. I want to just stop by and watch a class for fun. If you have any info please reply. Thank you!

Not in DC, but try here in nearby Arlington, VA: Capital Area Budokai (http://www.geocities.com/nvbudokai/)

we do kendo and iaido at george washington university (in dc). Next to the white house actually. But, you won't be able to get in the gym, so i guess it's pointless. But, we are having a seminar with Kato Sensei on Saturday and a tournament on Sunday if you want to come by and check it out.

Sean - I'll see you at the seminar - not sure if I'll compete or not yet.

is hwa rang kwan going to be in the tournament?
I don't think we've heard anything from them recently.
