The funny thing about respect is that the more you offer it out to others, the more you receive it from others. Respect is probably the first requirement to cultivating a receptive state of mind, in regards to the teachings of our lineage. To me, it seems that the three most impotant things we must adhere to are: Obedience to the traditiion we study, Respect towards both our teachers as well as our opponents, and an unswerving Devotion to master the Way of the sword. The glory we experience in fleeting moments of victory are a rush, but the deep focus and internal calm attained over decades of practice are the true treasures.

Spam? " Oops." Funy thing about spam...the more you give it to others, the more you get it back? ( Musashi would not have fallen for this one. Or, if he did, we might learn what computer confetti looks like.)

That's what I love about modern spam, they used to try and sell things, now they just post useless crap.
Though to be fair, I'd probably echo the sentiment...

This may sound like a stupid question but...why do all of the spam-bots use that flag?

Abu Dhabi is the first flag on the list. It's the default flag. They simply don't pick a flag because they're bots, or in some cases, poorly paid mouse clickers.

How can they be so vile as to mis-represent themselves? The slimy bastards! Boy, if I had them before me...I'd chop 'em good! How do you slice a cyber-illusion?

If you think spam bots are worse how about that Justin guy then? He's suppossedly from flesh and blood but has multiple identities. The way he 'behaves' himself is very weird to put it mildly. I wonder how someone like that would behave if there wasn't a virtual world like this. Now if the technology is getting better and better maybe we could eventually slice up cyber-illusions with a vengeance!

Spam bots are just irritating, Justin is such a nut job it's almost funny.

In Justin’s case we know, he believes he's a samurai swordsman (or something in that direction) ;)

oh well....at least the bot had the decency to post in the flames section where we can all carve him up verbally. Nice manners too. I wonder how many sales they actually make from being one of the most irritating phenomenom on earth. They are truly up there with telemarketers.... maybe worse.

Some reason they almost all end up in the Flames.. One day I'm gonna go to Abu Dhabi but then noone will believe I'm not a spammer when I post!
I really gotta ditch my Christmas avatar and go back to normal, non-festive avatar. Harry the Happy Shinai's getting beard rash.
