Any good dojos for a shodan(American) in Takayama?

Is that Takayama in Gifu? I love Takayama. Beautiful place. Especially in winter when there is snow. Not sure about dojos. Would like to know of any dojos in the area of Takayama or around Gifu. Anyone know?

Is it Gifu? You are going to have to be more specific.

Above are the results from the Kendo Nippon dojo search for Gifu prefecture. Most dojo are not listed on the web, so the best thing to do is just ask around. Maybe you can ask a cop at a koban who looks bored, you may get lucky and get invited to a police dojo or something.
Good luck with your move.

Wow, do people just randomly wake up one day and just move to Japan? And even without knowing any of the language?

Why do you assume that people just up-and-moved to Japan for no reason, and with no Japanese language ability?

It takes a while to sort out logistics (you need a degree and someone to sponsor your visa, or marry a japanese person) so you can't just wake up and move to Japan.

And even without knowing any of the language?

You can if you like, most western foreigners here don't speak that much, especially in the big cities. It does make life here a lot more fun/easy if you do.

Yes, alot of planning is behind me, and in front of me. I appreciate everyone who's given me advice and links to go to. Jediado, do you just jump from thread to thread trying to instigate problems? How are your white kote doing?
Are you just mad because someone chumps you off in every thread? Anyway, thanks everyone else.
