first time in Bogu

well last night was the night.
i was told that the first time is soooo different and how right that is.
Movement is restricted and i didnt realise how quickly i would start to get tiered.
i must say that my energy levels were at an all time low by the end of the session and i was completely nackered.
one other point i would like to mention is how fast my sensei is.
His kote men was like lightning and all i could do was get hit and try and attack back.
painfull yes, nackering yes, sweaty yes, but fun yessssssssssssssssssss.
cant wait till next week.

Monday night I passed my third kyu exam and then got to try Jigeiko against some senseis. They totally dominated me. I wonder if they would have been harder for them to fight against a dummy.

It was fun! Can't wait to do that again! Fortunately against someone more at my level...

Man I thought you were going to explode before the end of the night ,did you notice none of us newbies wanted to tackle clive first.... I,m still knocking the dents out of my do from 2 weeks ago he beat me silly.... I,m with you mate regarding kendo got a real passion for it great dojo and excellent sensi and members, think we,re in for the long term there. (btw think we better learn some first aid one of us is gonna need it) lol. See you on the 9th have a good christmas mate.

Mark and Big Dave - You're both doing better than I did when I first got into bogu. Don't worry about Clive. Really, I think he was intimidated last night. Even Rahill and Number One Dave said they couldn't handle your mighty skills. In fact, you should both be promoted to 1st Kyu immediately!













Hopefully, that little spout of bullshit will make those suckers come back after christmas! :D

Nah, dummies dont move or do unexpected things. Practicing with someone the first time is bogu is really hard.

Hahahahaha so you thought my straw was a brilliant move then Dave.
Tony, as for Clive being intimidated i laughed so hard i think i broke a rib the geezer is just so bloody fast.
I took on Rahill first and really went for it sadly i blew my self out after a couple of minutes of full on no holds barred give it to him attacking. he just took it waited for me to slow down then gave me a few choice whacks about the men.
quality session lads but my right wrist is just a little bruised so i may only manage six or seven pints this evening.
