The only DVD that I know of that includes some elements of Jodan is the Fourth one in the e-bogu Kendo Fundamentals series that covers the Jodan elements of Nito... for Daito and Shoto.

Yes, Chiba-sensei has made a series of instructional DVD's, with the 3rd one being about jodan. You'll need a Japanese friend to order it for you.

Jakob... Do you happen to know the title of these DVDs or a reference number?

Cheers

It's reasonably useful as it's limited how much you can gain from a DVD and his techniques may vary from what you have been taught.
It is however a very good inspirational tool.

well I donīt know if you like reading but by far far the best jodan insights are given at a book called fundamental kendo. though iīve heard itīs quite expensive as it is like a bible of kendo at japan.

I like reading, the problem is that the jodan info would be for my sensei and he canīt speak english, the book is quite expensive too, but THANKS for the information. I will try to find some about that book.

And sometimes that's very important. Yeah OK, understood, thanks.
