Oka Kenjiro sensei passed away

Many people will know or have heard of the legendary Oka Kenjiro sensei (Hanshi 8-dan), especially those who trained at the International Budo University. Sadly for the kendo world, Oka sensei has just passed away.

I'm sorry to hear that there has been such a great loss to the kendo community.

I apologize for my ignorance, but I have never heard of him, and was unable to find any information on through Google; he was named by many people, which is testiment to him as a person, but other than his name I found nothing.

I knew Oka-sensei from going to 松風館 in Matsudo.
He was a great guy and will be sorely missed.
