Hi to all our magazine subscribers.

You will all probably be wondering what is happening with Issue 6 (Vol. 2 #2). We have fallen behind schedule due to the recent World Championships, and because we published three new books.

1. FJ Norman's Fighting Man of Japan ($US20)
2. Kendo Kata: Essence and Application ($US20)
3. Looking After Kendo Equipment (400 Yen from AJKF)

However, most of the articles for Issue 6 have been completed and we should have it ready for printing within the month. Therefore, ETA for the magazines in your letter boxes will be approximately 6 weeks from now.

We are also getting Issue 7 together now as well, which will include a CD ROM of the recent finals at the KWC. Issue 7 should follow in quick succession from Issue 6 which will put us back on schedule. We apologize for the long wait between 5 and 6, but it isn't far away, and thank you for your patience and continued support.

Kindest regards

Alex and Hamish

Where can I take a look at some of those books? Any reviews or descriptions... etc?

We have just sent the books from the printers in Singapore to our distributors in New Zealand. It will take about 3 weeks before they arrive. We will start selling them as soon as they are in the warehouse in NZ. We also plan to have a totally new revamped Homepage up then as well, so we will add the appropriate order forms and details.

Hamish stopped off in Singapore on his way to Glasgow and picked up a handful of each of the books for sale and promotion at the champs. They sold out in the first day, but we took a number of orders as well. The books that were ordered at the champs have been sent to me in Japan. They are clearing customs as I write this post, and as soon as they arrive, I will be putting them in envelopes and sending them onto to the purchasers.

As for a review of the books, so far one reader has posted a review of the FJ Norman book.

At last!!!

The books which I will be sending to people who made purchases :ditsy: in Glasgow have finally arrived at my office!

It is Friday night here in Japan (8th August), so i will not be able to send them until Monday, but be assured they will not be far away from your letter boxes now.

We haven't had word on our shipment to NZ yet.

Alex

As soon as they've cleared customs and have made it to Mercury Solutions, you'll be able to order them through the web site.

We have a rough quote on postage, but we won't know for sure until they weigh them, including the packaging they'll be using.

As soon as we know, full details will be going up here.

No. We're getting there though. It has been sent to the printers, so it wont be far away. We are working on Issue 7 now too, so that wont be far after 6. Sorry for the delay. :)

Any update on issue six yet??

Yep! It has been sent to the printers, so it is out of our hands now. In the meantime, we are frantically putting Issue 7 together, so we hope that won't be far behind Issue 6. Again, we apologize for the delay, but with Issue 7 coming out hot on the heels of 6, that will put us back on time again.

Regards,

Alex :nervous:

What's the status on issue # 6? It's been a while since we've heard anything.

Thanks.
