You mean the link within the News posting for the cancellations? If so I've cleared the link. Blogger don't like iframes that much.
Cheers for pointing that out.

Not to stress a point too far here, but Western Fencing isn't related to; compatible with; or essentially similar to Kendo.

Why should Katana be in all caps? Perhaps you meant italics?

much nicer than before. nice colour scheme and i *really* like the banner.
personally id get rid of the ads because it looks unprofessional, and move the menu to the top. this would free up more space for content, which is the important part after all. many pages are "to much on the right" if you get my drift.

I like the visual of your site! :)
Browsing it I came across these "the the" that I think you may want to get rid of and to correct "progress" at what is kendo -> grades:
These the the adult grades and will take a lifetime to pregress though.Cheers

It's a front page statement that is 80% right that uninitiated reader will understand.
It's like telling children that the tide is caused by the moons gravitational pull on the earth's seas and oceans. - Not quite, but nearly.

looks great. who cares about what it says. i'm a product of western culture, and education. what looks good should taste good, feel good, and smell good. and that web site looks great to me. like someone once told me, don't read if you can see the picture.

Any opinions on the Kata page (http://www.kendoglasgow.net/kata.htm)? (Most of the other pages are built upon previous pages from previous sites. But this is one of the fairly original ones)

Hey Shred Lord just had a shufty at your new site it's really nice. I particularly like the logo. One of my all time favorite logos is the Scottish rugby teams. Yours has a similar vibe.
I think the kata page has an awful lot of text, perhaps taking out the line space between sub-headers and their respective text might make things easier on the eye.
One last thing I'd recommend is some better pictures of equipment. I know it's a pain in the behind but some decent shots with a simple cutout around it may take a bit of time but it's worth it in the end.

Cheers, you've just inspired some more elaborate plans in my head.
More on that later.
The Kata Page needs Photos to break it up (Have taken them yet).

Just as a matter of interest the old Glasgow Kendo poster with that decent photo on, is that something that was done for the Glasgow club. Only I've seen it used on an ebay auction and you get pretty much the entire top-half of the guy in bogu and just wondered where the image originated and who it's attributed/copyrighted to.

the shinai's that they are selling look like the kind a beginner at our club bought. The outside of the shinai have been filed flat, taking off the natural lumps and bumps that provide stregth and rigidity.
If thats the case, I would not advise anyone to buy a shinai like that. (they look rubbish close up too:))
