Hands for Kuritsuke

When you've finished a "lap" of tandoku doing kuri tsuke, does your front hand reverse so you can come up into honte or do you leave your hand where it is so that it comes up into gyuakute then switch the hand over into honte?

The latter one....with a bit of the former.

Turn into gyakute kamae and naturally change into honte. There's no need to stand posing in gyakute if that's what you're asking.
