kyoto dojos

I'm going to Kyoto next week for a month-long Japanese language course. My bogu will be making the trip down with me... but I don't know where to practice. In an ideal world, I'm looking for an air-conditioned (ha!), not-too-expensive dojo with either an English-speaking sensei or club members who can translate the finer points of the sensei's advice/critiques, in or near Kita-ku. In reality, I'll take whatever I can get, anywhere in the city!
