Ack! Timeouts abound!

I am trying to reply to thread ( http://www.kendo-world.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1400&highlight=vision ) and all I get is:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home3/www/kendo-world/forum/includes/functions.php on line 2798

I let it rest for a day but when I tried again just now it gave me the same reason.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Etherknot, what kind of connection are you using? If its a server based traffic issue I usually get an error message, but I haven't received any at all recently.

I'm on a fairly decent broadband connection. There was no problems with accessing the rest of the site just that one particular thread over and over again. I doubt it was server traffic though because I've tried at different times of day and the rest of the site was working just peachy like.
