Hey everyone,

I know this is a post that doesn't fit in anywhere in the forum categories but I was wondering if anybody knew where to get Kendo T-Shirts - a black kendo t-shirt.... I saw an ok-looking dark blue one on kendoshop.com and some other mediocre ones on cafepress.com, but they're all white. C'mon people. A black kendo t-shirt! I thought that with a martial art as popular as Kendo you'd have a myriad of options when it came to fashion. Then again - there are the mini-keikogis from the 12th WKC...

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :D

I have been searching the web for shirts. I would love to have a sweatshirt. I went to a recent fair and had a shirt airbrushed on the back. "I play with swords" It's not the best, mainly use for lounging around the house. I have recently purchased a Kendo hat from E-Bogu.com. I have regular email contact with a very nice and attentative sales rep from there and I asked him about other "Kendo" clothing and he said that it is in the works. I haven't heard anything definate yet.

I am waiting patiently...

Silk screening is your friend. Then you can design and make your own shirts. Unique ones that no one else has. It's worth the time to start it if you need a hobby or have free time. It's cool to be unique and have that cool T-shirt that only you have, rather than the mass production feeling of everyone has my same shirt.

Just another goofy thought...

If you do a search on kendo on e-bay, there are a few t-shirts, you might find something you like there.

Try looking on
http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/
search for Kendo, or martial arts, or some other such .. Japanese Kanji found one too.

I do not know about the quality as I have only browsed the site.

If anyone buys anything from cafepress please post a review :)

Wow, I should sue for copyright. Or maybe it's a wild coincidence, you be the judge: check out our club logo in the top left corner of the webpage (click the www on the bottom of this post). We've had the same logo now for at least 5 years.

Yeah but you can see where they definitely ripped off the general idea.

From the rather.... interesting, but still limited selection of Kendo apparel - I find myself suddenly wishing that AND1, Old Navy, Adidas or Polo Ralph Lauren would put out a Kendo t-shirt.... not gonna happen anytime soon though.

Here's what I think though - Japan is bound to have a bigger selection of Kendo T-Shirts than what's available on sites serving or based in the continental U.S. Are there any Japanese sites, stores, or whatever, that might sell tees? Or perhaps there are Kumdo T-Shirts out there sold by Korean sites....

I'm still awed that, outside Rurouni Kenshin t-shirts, there aren't more pieces of Kendo fashion out there :D.

Mabie the guys from kendo world magazine should make a "kendo world" t shirt.... that would be a great insentive to subscribe.... and even better have a competition for designs for the t shirt logo!!!!

That is simply brilliant. Although the people in charge of that may not see this thread, if you are, please listen!!! :D

I reckon it's dumb having "kendo" displayed so near one's private part - instant turn off lol! :D
