When is it a good time to replace my men? Like right now? It's soft right now, and I'm still using it until I can save up for a new one T_T. I just knocked on a fellow kenshi's men to see how hard the material is compared to mine, and it was really hard. Kind of like knocking on a door. Another thing is that what happens if i keep using that really soft men? There must be consequences such as losing more brain cells =(, or something like that.

How soft? I have a rather old men that need to be replaced. I have been hit hard enough where as I have smelled blood (like when you get popped in the nose). For now I just have to pad the inside untill I can afford a new one.
So if your situation is like mine, ASAP is the best time to get a new men. Its not good to get hit in the head.

Dorkus, are you getting hurt because of the softness of your men? My men is still stiff after two years, i'd give anything for this thing to break in, but i cant feel a thing when im hit...
If its causing you greif, replace it...if your still safe in it, and its brokken in....luck you :D

I REALLY feel it when I get hit MEN by hard-hitting beginners. It's enough to make a person cry T_T. Well I won't be wearing my Men for a while because my foot is injured (stomped too hard) =). I guess I'll be using that recovery time to read, or search for a new Men. I'm thinking about purchasing a 2mm Men from kendoshop for 117 bucks. Great deal, don't you think?

I tried to post the link, but my connection right now is currently too slow. Sorry Nishi. Hey could someone post the link up, please? E-bogu has a back-to-school sale. You might want to check some of the stuff there as well. They have a special on this double-layered keiko-gi for 90 bucks. Great deal, don't you think?
I totally agree about being dead. I'm going to pay for it when my foot heals though. Watching from the sidelines just kills me. I really want to join in, but miru geiko isn't so bad, I guess...
