Hi guys/gals,

Via these forums ive helped a few people find practise here in Osaka (with me usually), plus advised people or put them in contact with people in other places/people, mainly in Tokyo.

It struck me that there isnt a more structured "Kendo Network" thing going on with expats over here. This could be for many reasons... the worst I ever heard was that bringing in extra foreigners would ruin their "gaijin power factor" or something (im serious). For me, im not threatened by someone who wants to come and practise in my dojo, be they beginner or 7dan.

With this in mind id like to ask those people who live and practising in Japan - and who are willing - to get in touch with me (pm) so that I can set up at least a contacts page for people coming to Japan and looking for some extra training. We are pretty lucky with respect to training and mentoring over here, so lets not hog it.

Im not sure if this will go anywhere, but I will give it a try anyway.
