I think the Calendar should require more things such as the location of the event, and some kind of contact (phone, email..). Since we are all around the world, it's kind of hard to figure out who can feel concerned and it takes lots of time to find out on internet that it's too far etc...

Tagawa-sensei didn't mail out the invitations, they're on the website. If you go to Midwest Kendo Federation's website, they're in the "tournament info" section. The letter, the entry form, schedule of events, and locations are there.
www.midwestkendo.com (http://www.midwestkendo.com)
I'm sure that even Southern California Invaders are welcome, too.
If the SCI would like to come to Detroit in the middle of the winter please feel free. This tournament has grown to include dojos from around North America. Usually J.C.C.C. and Etobikoe (sp?) are there along with some kenshi and sensei from Cali. If you can make it please do. Information is available on the Midwest site. www.midwestkendo.com (http://www.midwestkendo.com) Cheers!
