Just thought I'd mention that at long last I will be going to one of Keith Rose's jodo mini-seminar in Selby, N. Yorks.
For those of you who do not know Keith, he is not the highest graded jodoka in UK but boy is he good. I have seen higher graded Jodo Sensei ask him for advice and I can confirm that no-one apart from Jock Hopson has moved my bokuto so easily with so little effort.
Mind blowing.
Still have broken left wrist, so the day should be interesting.
I will let you all know how I get on even though I know none of you gives a shit

He is one of my inspirations in jodo. He flies in the face of a lot of opinions but he is bloody good at jodo and represents so many other good facets of martial arts which are rarely exhibited by others.

Hi, I'm affraid I will miss you today but hope you enjoy the seminar, they are great. I'm nursing RSI in my right hand so now I feel double guilty for not going today, it was either iai tonight or jodo hand can't cope with both in a day yet, it's the first one I've missed. Keith says it'll be the last for a while as surfs up! I think they will start again in September.
Anyway welcome and I hope you enjoy the day!
Tim.

Tim,
the good news is that keith hopes to do one in July which would be the last one of the summer.
For the record, really enjoyed today. surprised how much I had forgotten in such a short space of time.

Oi, You're supposed to be offline.
Anyways broke is used in the sense that it is not working properly rather than a broken bone. And I did it practicing doing part of my job.

I was suppose to be going to that Jodo one.... but I went out night before, and well..... I, erm.... wasn't really well enough to go......
But I intend on going to the next one! I don't even practise Jodo, I did for a little while but then had to quit.... but I really enjoyed it. When I did it, I had Steve Boyes, Keith and Rick all teaching me.... I was like "Ha! You can't get much better than that!" :)
And of course Lee, i''ll believe that you hurt your wrist through your work.... yes, of course I will.... ;)

HEY, What're you implying?
Here I am being nice to you and you just go and hurt my feelings.
....intrepid hero walks forlornly into the dank evening air. He turns and looks back just the once to see if there is any hope.........but he knows it is too late. With a sigh and a heave of his shoulders he trudges towrads a new dawn......
