I have been practicing Kendo for 3 months now and as hard as it is I love it. I do not think I am going to get a bogu until I get my basics down, but I wanted to know what are the things that I need to look for in terms of quality, price, brands, etc.

Search the archives. Lots of good info hidden in these forums. If you look below you can "similar threads" Thats a good place to start.
