I needed a kendogi and hakama.
First I wrote an email to Eurobogu, but after 3 weeks I still haven't had a response. But Ninecircles answered really fast, so I ordered from them and got my kendogi and hakama in less than a week. They shipped the next day, so the rest is postal transportation between the UK and NL.

My new kendogi is really nice, superthick cloth. I haven't had a real good look at it yet, because my fingers turned blue as I tried it on (it fits :-) ). After that I looked like a smurf. :p
So now it's soaking in a bucket with salt water, I'll see tonight whether it still rubs off that much.
The colour is not darkblue, but a deep purple. Is that normal? It's a really beautiful colour, but I expected a blue gi.

My hakama is synthetic, so no rubbing of.

It'll turn blue (along with you) after a few practices :)

Hmmm. How did the smurf song go anyway? Hey, my sempai here should know it :-)

Didn't wanna make a new thread so I thought I'd post here.

Just got my new keikogi and hakama, but I don't know if it fits or even how to wear it! The keikogi seems too long and is pretty loose, but I don't know if it should be that way...

Just need a few pointers on how the hakama is worn(can't even tell back from front!), and the keikogi looks straightforward enough, but if there's anything I should know, please tell me.

I know i probably should ask my sempais, but the next time i see them is just before practise, and I won't be able to learn it all in half an hour I don't think...

I have the same thing and am about to recieve my keikogi (kendogi, gi, whatever) and hakama in the mail. That link doesn't work for me, so is there a different one that I could use?
