Just wanted to share. So I missed a few weeks of practices because my beautiful son came into the world. Went back to practice last night and it felt sooooo good. Until, that is, I went into the supply closet to change and left coin-shaped spots of blood on the floor in the wake of my left foot.
Ah, it's good to be back.

Too right! My buddy's son has a lil' baby shinai. He mostly chews on the tsuka - but it's a start!

Congratulations!
Many many congrats, Charlie. My son is just about to turn 4 and although he has been a trial in a lot of ways, he is the greatest!
Good luck, Charlie-san!

Thanks so much, you guys. This has just been the best, having this child. I wish we were in a pub so I could buy you all a drink. Yay!

Eddie, I would love that, I miss Florida! Keep watching that horizon. And if you're ever up to the great frozen tundra of Meechigan...

Uh no thanks. I will be in Charlston next month for the AUSKF Summer Camp and that is about as far north as I want to go. :) But the other half is talking about a trip next summer to D.C. So I guess we prob. will end up there, even though I have not lost anything there ;). These sunsets do get wild here.
