Uh.... not a big fan of men-himo so I guess I'll rip it out of my bogu :D And since I find tsuba domes inferior, I guess I don't need em' :D.

ROTFL..... hahaha, unique question my friend!!! :D :D :D. As for me, I'll take a tsuba any day. What's so interesting about tsuba? Hm... I dunno, for me, its the most customizable part of both shinai and iaito. E-Bogu makes a very beautiful luxury tsuba for shinai that I'm drooling over (too expensive though!!! ): http://www.e-bogu.com/lutsforco.html. The crane tsuba on an iaito is very elegant too, although to me it looks too fragile. In fact, I find most of the iaito/shinken tsubas that have a lot of empty space on them in the artwork to look very fragile-almost to the point where I begin to question its praticality. Then again, I may be wrong. Anyway, I cast in my nomination for best shinai accessory: tsuba.

Are we supposed to guess what the question is?

-What is your favorite piece of kendo equipment that can be used as dental floss?
(tsuru)

-What is your favorite piece of kendo equipment that can also be used by ninja?
(do-himo)

-What is your favorite piece of equipment to steal?
(nakayui)

-What did you order from e-bogu recently?
(men himo)

-What is the best piece of equipment to hide the heroin you smuggled out of Afghanistan in?
(???)

I'm totally flummoxed.

have to say i am also unsure of the question but the equipment i like most has to be the men himo
without it how would we keep the men on?

I like do-himo myself, mainly because it's easier to put on properly than men himo, but then again there's nothing quite like a well tied nakayui

I like men-himo because I go through them like they are going out of style.

I see that many people prefer the tsuba. I find the rubber tsubadome to be much more forgiving than the hard plastic tsuba. What happens if the hole is not the correct size on the plastic tsuba? I have not tried the leather tsuba; I am sure that the soft leather is a great improvement over plastic.

I am not on the himo wagon. That activity is a bit awkward for me. I guess role-playing folks enjoy it.

I think the tsukagawa is a bit old-fashioned. I like to explore.

Further proof that you shouldn't reply to Yowai's posts (although this one is pretty funny if you think about it)
