Over the weekend, I caught the first episode of a new series on the History Channel here in the states called "Human Weapon."

Pretty entertaining. First episode was about Muay Thai. Looks like the show is going to cover other MA in subsequent episodes, inlcuding judo, karate, escrima. Too bad there's no kendo episode.

Anyway, the two hosts (one guy is a mixed martial artist, the other is some huge beefy dude who is a former football player and wrestler) traveled around Thailand to learn Muay Thai and learn about its roots. It was pretty interesting seeing how Muay Thai changed through the years.

Anybody else catch this?

Yeah I caught it. The hosts are kinda lame but I really enjoyed seeing the old styles of Thailand. I looking forward to the Krav Maga(sp), Judo, and Karate episodes. That Muai Thai champ could've killed him at any moment.

Yeah, totally. He was going waaaay easy on him, but kudos to the dude for even entering the ring with him after training for a week or so.

Yeah but the only reason he probably went in the ring with him was he knew the guy was going to take it easy on him.

Those guys in the black vests were hardcore.
