Dodaichi85 Fan Club [Archive] - Kendo World Forums

I want to start a fan club to dodaichi85, or at least that's what he calls himself on youtube.

The guy, or gal, is constantly posting vids from High School kendo tournaments in Japan. Not shabby videos either, decent, full length vids of fights. I have to mop the drool off my desk after watching this stuff.

It's the kind of thing you rarely get to see outside Japan.

For this I salute him or her.

But who is this masked stranger?

I was kind of hoping we would reveal himself to us here on Kendo World.

Perhaps he requires some kind of sacrifice? Maybe something like oxen and spirits pilled high and burned in some gigantic bonfire during a Greek orgy (What? we use to do it all the time back in the '30s). We could always start a cult devoted to Dodaichi. It would make Scientology look well balanced and meaningfull.

At any rate, his latest vids from the Inter High School Championships were great.

we could post about this thread on the comments of his videos. but I like the idea of the greek orgy better :D

...it looked to me, from the last gyokuryuki vids, that the shimpans were very strict this year, and there were some amazing "moves" I specially enjoyed the boys individual final, it was great.
