The sword does surprisingly well. For those who aren't familiar with a .50 BMG - it has about 10 times as much energy as a regular infantry rifle...

Impressive pictures, for the least... That would explain why Cruise was never hit by bullets in Last Samurai.

I love the Conan-style music behind the super slow mo! A good explination of the modern day practical application of swords.
First, if you are a god, you cut three or four bullets in half! :)

Oh, great! Now we'll have someone like Sharp Phil saying that you can use a sword to defend yourself against someone with a gun. Of course, all you need to do is to deflect the bullets with the sword and pray the attacker doesn't just happen to have a 50-cal hidden about their person.

Sweet, if I chop a bullet in half with a sword I can actually get hit twice by the same bullet...
