What the difference (quality, reliabylity, hardness, durability, etc.) between this ebony one :

just to get this post a bit moving ...
i must say that i havent i used an an ebony bokken before i believe that you must see them side by side to understand the difference...i personaly dont like the varnished bokkens as with time if you have to sand paper them you will be taking off the varnish thats why i prefer the white japanese oaks.
the second thing is dont like the fixed tsuba ones as they are more difficult to carry and they can break and need to be replaced...
and the diffreence between the tsuka thickness and length can differ ...

but probably you also have the same questions ....
ill be waiting with you to learn the answers also ..

I don't know about the specifics, but the thing that stands out is the total price of 420$(US)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
