Another newbie on board..

Hello all fellow kendokas..

I've recently registerd as a member of this forum after having read through many
of the existing threads.. lots and lots of helpful, not to mention interesting information that im sure everyone could benefit from.. (especially me ^^)
Im a newbie.. only been 2 months since i've started my kendo training
and thoroughly enjoying it so far.. hoping to one day progress into bogu and into the ranks of shodan and everything that follows it..
Neway, just to say hi to all who participate in these discussions and hope many will take the time to answer my future enquiries on this art.

Gday Kenshin, I've only just started as well, probably about the same time as you. I have just started to wear my bogu and loving it, have not worn men as yet. Have my first in-house tournament tommorow night, I'm going to get my arse handed to me on a plate, but it will be damn fun.

Only recently started and already wearing bogu? thats great..
I would love to wear bogu too.. unfortunately basics not good enuff =/
cant wait to start wearing it though ^^ seems heaps fun!
how did you fare in ur in-house tournament? hope it went well :)
Keep up the training and perhaps will bump into one another in the near future..

Unfourtunately we didnt have our in-house tournament, too few people. I guess it still being the school holidays and people having a lot of uni work due. But dont worry, I still got my arse handed to me in jigeiko :P.
