Hi guys,

I need to set the dye in my new keiko-gi, and I just tried about four times to do a search, and all I got was this message, when I wrote: "Setting the Indigo dye in keiko-gi." I tried other variations of this too, but help! I can't get it to work.

"The search term you specified (the) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.
If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific."

I need to know right away, since I need my keiko-gi for the Kendo seminar, and I leave on Thursday. Can somebody please help me find what to do? It will take me all day to try to read through all the archives... too small of print to do this fast.

I am thinking salt would be good, since I am allergic to fragrances, and I hate having a headache from it. I'm not sure if vineger would do this to me, but I don't want to find out. I want to enjoy the seminar, hehe. Does salt work? And if it does, please help me find how to do this.

Thank you guys!

Kaoru

Since you don't like vinegar, after you soak your new gi in salt and vinegar for a day, you rinse it several time and the smell will go away. Otherwise do search with world Keikogi or Hakama and reading through.

Wash it in cold water with a couple of good handfuls of table salt and no detergent. Hang to dry.
