Hi to all here on KW.
I recently came across a youtube clip of a match during the 10th World Kendo Champs and noticed one of the kenshi attempt a waza which to me seemed somewhat obscure to use in Shiai. From what I could see, around the 1;40 second mark, the guy from Brazil tries to pull off a larger cut then "normal". It actually looked to me like Joge buri which we often practice during warm ups. Anyway, to me it was certainly something different. I'm trying to figure out what the guy was actually trying to do. Maybe a nuki waza?? Anyone care to share their thoughts? look forward to reading them.
