Hi All -

An injury has forced me to quit kendo, so now I need to sell my bogu. It's been used for only 3 months, so it is in great shape. Below are the details:

e-Bogu Custom Made Top Quality 3 mm Machine Stitch Kendo Bogu

MEN: Titanium Men, Seikon #7000 fabric, Seikon dyed deer leather, Mune type M11
[Head Size B:66 cm (26 in)]

DO: Black 50 Bamboo Look Do, Natural leather for the Mune (chest part), Double folded leathers on the borders of Do, Embroidery (type K) made of Silk thread.
[Height:5ft 8in][Weight:160 lbs][Waist:33in]

KOTE: Seikon dyed deer skin leather, Double Kera, Seikon #7000 Fabric.
[Hand Size:20 x 20 cm (8.0 x 8.0 in)]

TARE: 6 embroidery lines across on the Tare, Seikon #7000 fabric, Seikon dyed deer leather
[Height:5ft 8in][Weight:160 lbs][Waist:33in]

Purchased new for $800.

I also have the Deluxe Ballistic Bogu Bag, Ballistic 5-Shinai bag, a couple of practice shinais, a "MINO" koto style shinai, and various tools.

Does anyone know where there is a market for this? It doesn't look like ebay has any high-quality items listed.

Thanks for your help!

It's best if possible to sell in your area to make it easier for pickup as opposed to shipping. If you are in Atlanta you should check with the dojo you practice with as well as the other dojos in the area before listing it online.

That said, one does see quality bogu on eBay once in a while so it is definitely a possibility ( I bought my first set of bogu used off ebay about 9 years ago and still use the do from that set). Other places would be craigslist, this forum, or maybe some other one.
