I've been hovering around these boards for some time now. You see, as a newbie kumdo student, I went searching for kumdo forums and didn't find any...well, any in english anyways. But I did come across this great kendo forum. For a newbie, trying to learn all that was kendo was hard. I was trying to learn kumdo terms, forms, etc. and also kendo terms, forms, etc. on this forum. Therefore, I never even bothered joining the discussions here. I felt I had nothing to say since I really didn't even know half of the terms used in the discussions. =/
So due to this and the lack of an online kumdo community (in english) I took it upon myself to make a kumdo community/forum. (www.kingdomfighter.com) Please understand that my intentions for this forum and this post is not to steer members away from this forum, but to guide newbie kumdo students to the sport and to acknowledge that kumdo and kendo are the same sport. I hoping for a kumdo community to be able to coexist and acknowledge kendo for what it is and not let korean nationalism (drop all that kumdo vs kendo nonsense) affect this sport we all love and share.
Help: Additionally, I want to ask kumdo students for assistance in making this community work. There is not much content and very few members, but the beginning is always hard. I think with enough ambition we can build a great online kumdo community (in english of course! =]).

All are welcome - students of kumdo, kendo, fans, etc.
