People keep saying it will be in Madrid, Spain. But I never heard about which month etc.

Would anyone there... Tato or Paburo find that out please?

Prague is here in the Czech Rep., not in Hungary, I can confirm this one :-)

EKC 2004 was originally supposed to be in Madrid, Spain, but on the EKF meeting before the WKC2k3 Spain declared it couldn't organize it, so it moved to Budepest (yes, in Hungary :-)). I think this should be no problem, Hungary is well developed Kendo country, and it alerady hosted EKC once (in Miskolz in 1996)

I don't know much about airlines to Budapest, but I would try Hungarian Airlines (Malev), I took thier flight once and it was OK.

But I think there will be much more connections, it is quite a big city. And palce stay will be probably offered in the invitation, as usuall.

Since EKF site is updated once per year and Hungarian Kendo Federation site is only in Hungarian, this info is kinda hard to get :-)

Finaly some info:

"The European Kendo Championships (EKC) 2004 will be held in Budapest, Hungary, from the 23rd up to the 25th of April 2004.

As there will be no seminar before (the sports hall is too expensive to reach the break-even), all examinations (up to 7th Dan) will be held on Sunday afternoon. "

Found that on the EKF site.
