Greetings all. A guy over on E-budo posted this message on the Jodo-section:
It is my pleasure to report that Lasse and Lena Carlberg, BOTH received Shindo Muso Ryu Jo Menkyo makimono from Kaminoda Tsunemori sensei, Nihon Jodokai Kaicho, today, November 4th. The presentations were made at the Kashima Jingu Kendo dojo during the current Gasshuku being held at the Kashima Shinbuden Nov 3-6.
Lasse and Lena are the instructors of the Stockholm Jodokai and have a long relationship with the Nihon Jodokai and Kaminoda sensei.
Reaching Menkyo level in Jodo is a significant achievement requiring many years of dedicated study. Lasse and Lena now join a very small number of westerners who have received Menkyo in SMR Jodo.
Congratulations Lasse and Lena!

And my hearty congrats as well. :)
Lasse and Lena are amongst the most experienced of the Jodo-practitioners in Sweden and were among the first pioneers to bring SMR-Jodo to Sweden in the early 1980's.
