Thanks to you, now I can't sleep until receiving it.
Anyway, thank you. Any special for Xmast? or it is still confidential.
Here's an update on Kendo World 4.1-
I received word from the printers yesterday that the prinitng has been completed and the magazines have been transferred to the warehouse in Singapore. The magazines will be sent to subscribers either on Monday or Tuesday (Xmas Day). I hoped you would have them for Xmas, but they will probably be in your post boxes around the New Year.

Alex is there someway i can "log in" and check my subscription? I think ive a few editions left but would rather be sure before renewing?
Hi there,
the easiest way to find out where you are with your subscription is to send a mail with your name to customer_svs@kendo-world.com. We will be able to check the database and Bob's your uncle. Let me know if you have any problems.
Should be arriving any day now. Let us know what you think.

Has anyone received the magazine yet? I am just a bit curious.
Not as curious as I am!! We received official notification that the mass-mailing had been completed by the warehouse in Singapore, so some mags must have started arrving by now.
Yet to arrive in Aus. Hopefully tomorrow...

Got it! Arrived in the post today. Woot, as they say.

I think I should take a whole week vacation to wait for it. Anyway, I hope it doesn't take too long to land on the North America continent.
Alex, what can I say? You've done it again. Chock full o' kendo goodness. The article on the KKA's "innovations" is a bit worrying, but that seems to be a part of KW mag these days: some instructional stuff, some historical stuff, and some current political stuff, the latter which usually makes the traditional kendo person (such as yours truly) groan inwardly.
Mikey Prime's been a busy boy this edition hasn't he?
Only skimmed so far, saving up the good stuff for when I get home from training tonight. Once again I dips me lid to you and your team sir.
Overall two entusiastic thumbs up, excellent holiday reading for all the family. The Kendo World family that is. :D

PS - on the down side I just remembered, some of the pics from the competition coverage where printed a tad on the contrasty side. No doubt Mr Crane will be having words with whomever stuffed his beautiful pics. Seriously though, Caleb Crane must be the best non-Japanese photographer of kendo in the world. I haven't seen better work than his anywhere, even in the big Japanese monthlies. Props to him too.
Yes, the printing was a little dark in some places which was disappointing. We are working on that problem now, and will be going to Singapore to oversee the next print run in June.

Sent it away there last week, but have not heard anything back. There are probably only 2/3 subscribers from cork Ireland so that should be eay enough to find out.
hmmmm...I will ring Mike now and see what's up.
Just read the latest "Unlocking Japan" (duh, I just got the title...). Excellent! What a bizarre situation to be staring into your own son's eyes and he doesn't recognise you at all: weirded me out thinking about it! (For those who haven't read it yet, don't worry, it's nothing tragic). Lochie's articles are getting better and better.

Finally got the 4.1, it being the first time I have received KW. And I am impressed and compressed with the magazines amount of information.

What? NY is still there? Last time I heard Bruce Wilis messed it up real bad in Die Hard 3.
I am waiting for everyone to receive it before I want to discuss about severy important points in the magazine. Trust me, it is an excellent one.

Yup, NYC is still here, warts and all. Unfortunately I can't say the same for my copy of 4.1. No sign of it over the weekend, and today is a holiday, with no mail delivery. My recollection is that door-to-door, my copy usually shows up in about three weeks, so I have a few more days to go before pushing the panic button...
my first issue of kendo world just arrived in Munich today. I think it was quite fast since I subscribed approx. two weeks ago.
I hope it will always go so smoothly.
Cheers and greetings from rainy Munich

Just received it today here in Holland. Couldn't help but notice that on the picture friom the Kitamoto seminar all the others have a flag to practice shinpan and the Dutch guy hasn't one. I hope that nothing was wrong there.

Just got the KW edition and wanted to say what a great job everyone did. Loved the in-depth article on Nito but everything was top-notch.
