Had a chance to see Dvorine Sensei at the Baltimore-Annapolis taikai in November when he demonstrated some kata for us. From seeing him in action, I wonder how much of his prodding was involved vs. the couple's own desire to perform kata at the reception. Either way, awesome!

Former students in our dojo in No. VA; they have since moved away - both of them were very skillful on the mat, and very supportive as members of our administrative officer corps. We do miss them.
