My son Ian left his shinai bag at the Steveston taikai in Canada, the bag has a tag with his name and the shinai have his name on the handles. Our Sensei contacted Murao Sensei and it didn't turn up there. If anyone has any info or picked it up by accident, please let me know.

Thank you,

Tenegui gnomes, damn them. Don't worry they tend to return things, sometimes 'new lamps for old'.

We'll keep a look out for it... just in case...

Yeah it sucks but at least it wasn't a full bogu bag

I lost two tenuigi during several taikai. One of them is my lucky one. Since I lost the lucky one, I haven't won any at all. I am willing to pay $20.00 for anyone to bring it back to me, same color, same smells, no question ask.

Well, frankly people should take more care of their gear, i can imagine the samurai of old the night before going into battle ....

Random samurai: "Hey Musashi, have you seen my paul chen katana, i left it by the open fire by my tent but some noob samurai wannabe musta nicked it!"

Musashi: "Suks Dude, my gear gets nicked all the time by the bujutsu gnomes, lost an oar last week!"

bujutsu gnomes

Damn bujutsu gnomes, not as common here in England as the Tenegui gnomes but I hear they're very common in Ireland watch out for those little guys.
