I asked one of my sensei the same thing when I needed to stop because of being in transition of moving from one place to another this year until I finally got relatively permanently settled.
He said do suburi, but more specifically, make sure you do men, kote, do, and kirikaeshi. Make sure you cover all the basics to work on technique and not just an ever constant only men.

Do some running to keep you self in shape and a lot of suburi.
As well as other kendo move that you know that you can do it correctly.
